Person-Centered Care Extends to the Kitchen

At Haven of Grace, our menu is an important part of our person-centered care. Meals are thoughtfully planned around individual preferences, cultural considerations, and dietary needs, because food should feel familiar, nourishing, and empowering. When permitted, we embrace a garden-to-table approach, where residents are encouraged to assist in growing fresh foods used in our meals. Participation is always optional and guided by individual abilities, supporting independence, purpose, and connection to nature. Through shared choice and involvement, we honor dignity, personal preference, and overall well-being.
